Dandelion Leaves

" You are the one that possesses the keys to your being. You carry the passport to your own happiness."

Diane Von Furstenberg

Have you been struggling with these thoughts or feelings?

Everyone has a unique story, but we all can share in common struggles such as anxiety, insecurities, fear, worry, self doubt, and imposter syndrome.

Have negative thoughts about yourself been getting louder?

Has it been hard to find a space to share any of these thoughts and feelings?

Areas of Expertise

The EMDR approach believes past emotionally-charged experiences are overly influencing your present emotions, sensations, and thoughts about yourself. As an example: “Do you ever feel worthless although you know you are a worthwhile person?”

EMDR uses rapid sets of eye movements to help you update disturbing experiences, much like what occurs when we sleep. During sleep, we alternate between regular sleep and REM (rapid eye movement). This sleep pattern helps you process things that are troubling you.

EMDR replicates this sleep pattern by alternating between sets of eye movements and brief reports about what you are noticing. This alternating process helps you update your memories to a healthier present perspective.

EMDR Intensives

I have worked and supported teens and adults in working through their negative belief systems and traumas using EMDR virtually and in person. In my practice, I use EMDR in hourly sessions or more intensive 2 hours, 3 hours, or 6 hours sessions when appropriate. (Please note insurance does not cover intensive sessions of EMDR.)
